Site updated to 1.0

Some good news for the site finally.  I've gotten updated to a version I'm going to call 1.0.  There are still a lot of rough edges, but I'm still working on them.  This site is still going to change a lot, but it is going to have some structure to it now.

I'm still working on updating Project:CMS (my custom software driving this site), and it will be changing a lot from the version it is at right now.  However, most of the change is going to be restricted to http://new.ben-nicholas.com from now on.  The main page, http://www.ben-nicholas.com should remain fairly stable.  As I make major changes that effect the functionality of the site, once they are tested to be working on the new version, they will be migrated to the main site.  So, if you want to see the bleeding edge of what I'm doing, take a look at the new version.  If you want something you know will work, stay on the main site.

Issue with site

The good news for anyone interested in this site is that I'm actually getting back to developing it again.  The bad news is that I have no idea what is causing one of my problems.  Most of what I still need to do is polishing work, so this site will take over the crap that I have posted on www.ben-nicholas.com soon.  However I have a serious problem with the pages function of this project.

Currently, whenever I try to make a new page, which is one of the top level links the way I set this up, it tries to edit the currently non-existant copy of that page.  Somehow, the site is not able to create new pages.  I believe that if I had a page set up to edit, it would handle it fine.  However, since I can't create a page to test it on, I don't know if that would work.

Progress on Double Major

I'm officially making progress on my plan to do a double major between Software Engineering and Computer Engineering now.  I've got a schedule set up of all the classes I need to take to graduate with the two majors.  I've also got the form I need to fill out and the names of the people I need to meet with to finalize a few details.  Now I just need to actually take the courses.  That's the fun part.
